Welcome to The Post

We are a collective of newsletters and podcasts exploring how business will shape our future. 

This is a new thing from Silicon Slopes—yes, that’s in Utah—and we’re doing it because we think business can be a force for good and we want to explore how it can be even better. Not from California or New York where all the other journalists are, but from our perspective in the mountains. Just think of us as the philosophers on the hill.

It’s our goal to share, not sensational headlines or clickbait, but thought pieces that pull things apart, think them through, and invite you to participate in the comments section. We don’t want to report on all the problems with capitalism—all the other media does enough of that—we want to think through the solutions. This is a new media. Hopefully a better one. 

And because we want to be a force for good in the business community, we’re using our dollars to give back to ours. We are a 501(c)(3) supporting Utah’s tech and entrepreneurial communities. We do things like host job fairs after layoffs in our community, work to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to get employed, provide all the resources entrepreneurs need to succeed, and give a leg up to anyone ready to take their moonshot.

To kick it off with a bang, we invited all of our favorite writers to have deep thoughts about the future. Starting today, each day this week we’ll send you a new video about the future of progress, technology, scientific advancement, the internet, and business—all the things we’ll be talking about in newsletter and podcast form once we get going next week.

We’ll see you in a couple hours for the first day of our launch summit! In the meantime, please come introduce yourselves in the comments and let us know what ideals you’d like us to explore. The future is up to us!
