There are many great places to live on this planet , but Utah has a pull that I haven’t experienced elsewhere. I’m always drawn back. The skiing, mountain biking, kind people, the innovation, etc. continue to inspire and allow for a fulfilling life.
I was born and raised in California in the 60's and 70's and moved to Utah in the early 80's. I was an outsider in every way but the beauty of the state was something to behold and the people, while 'peculiar', are solid in every way and decent fine human beings in general. Utah became my new home and I didn't leave until 2007. I was educated here. My children were born here. I made my place in the world here. After leaving, I visited my grandchildren living at Bear Lake and my wife and I decided to buy a home and retire there. I love this place. Time has worn well on Utah whereas my former home state of California has turned into a social cesspool and a crowded over-regulated nightmare. I will never go back there. When people inevitably ask where I am from implying where I was born and grew up, I now tell them Utah. Utah Forever indeed.
Absolutely false - horrible place to live. Everybody stay away...please!

That’s it? I live here but there was nothing of substance in this article except religious references.
